Mr. Dual Sport Rider
I was concerned about getting into the Supercross race Saturday in San Francisco, but went there anyway hoping to score a couple of tickets. I got decent seats from a scalper for face value (the guy next to me lost a few bucks selling them to him, though). Most of the seats up very high could see the whole track.
I realize that roadracing is closer to what most BARF members ride, but it's nice to have an exciting series that gives you a chance to watch a few races live without leaving the country. They make all the international riders come here to race.
Anyway, I really enjoyed the three hours of racing plus a few hours of practice and qualifying in the afternoon. For any who missed it, ESPN2 will air the races on Saturday at 9:00 a.m.
