Forget Moto GP and WSB, support Supercross

I was concerned about getting into the Supercross race Saturday in San Francisco, but went there anyway hoping to score a couple of tickets. I got decent seats from a scalper for face value (the guy next to me lost a few bucks selling them to him, though). Most of the seats up very high could see the whole track.

I realize that roadracing is closer to what most BARF members ride, but it's nice to have an exciting series that gives you a chance to watch a few races live without leaving the country. They make all the international riders come here to race.

Anyway, I really enjoyed the three hours of racing plus a few hours of practice and qualifying in the afternoon. For any who missed it, ESPN2 will air the races on Saturday at 9:00 a.m.

Here's a photo from practice (when it was still light enough for my camera):

Scott,
The SF supercross was great! I had a great time booing the American riders and supporting the French riders ;) :teeth

I actually have tickets to the final in Las Vegas. Can't wait!

Why forget MotoGP and WSB?!? I love roadracing as well and can't wait for the start of the season...

Roadbikes, dirtbikes, it's ALL GOOD!!!

I really wanted to go but had a previous engagement. Saw a convoy of their semis southbound while going to Holister Sunday morning.
