Ferrari spotting in Marin County, CA

KHAAAAAN!
Was on a nice leisurely motorcycle ride when I arrived in Tamales, CA and came upon a small gathering of Ferrari's.

No F40's and it's successors were there.

One new C8 Vette was there too. The owner, looks to be in his early 70's, has a few Ferrari's but he brought this to compare. He feels that Chevy got it right with this model. He claims he's owned nearly 50 Vette's throughout his life.

The owner demographic is...not shocking at all. And, not a single "trophy" wife either. LOL

I as there as well - on a Yamaha, not a Ferrari. This is their club’s annual Enzo Drive. Happens every year on the man’s birthday month.

A 308 is a historical vehicle? Gah! I'm old. With all this fancy hardware, I'd still prefer a Dino.

Rolls with it...
I think it helps with smog certs...

Anybody see the Fifth Gear episode where raced a 308 against a new Honda mini van? Yeah, the Honda won.

Still, love the style (in spite of Magnum P.I.) and the electric restomods bring the power to more modern standards.

My 2019 Honda Pilot has a 3.5L V6 putting out 280bhp. So yeah, not surprised a 40 year old something 308 lost. LOL

The Ferraris are less expensive. :laughing

Ride on #69

I've been in LOVE with these two models since I was a kid. Still have a huge soft spot for them. Some of the last few made while Enzo was still among us.

I catch some flack from some of my "car buddies," but, man, they made a HUGE impression. Magnum, Crockett, and Tubbs, forever! :laughing
