Home Loans for Riders!
Hi Barf!

I'm using fivver to design a banner to use here on Barf, and perhaps elsewhere. This is the first version and I have "unlimited revisions"

All feedback welcome, my goal is to have something pleasing to the eye that also informs the viewer of my business offering.

Thoughts?

Chris,

I think it should say mortgage broker since there are other kinds of brokers.

A small nit for me personally is the Biker thing.
I am sure I am some weird minority on that and it would not preclude me from using any service that said bikers.

I am a snobby rider / motorcyclist..I guess :laughing

Bud, its funny I was thinking that but... Broker for Bikers sounds good.

Maybe simply Mortgage Broker for Riders ???

Not as snappy but less of a Hell's Angels reference :afm199

It does sound good. Like I said a nit.. and it would not stop me, but it does make it a different cultural statement.

You could keep that and put in a smaller line saying specializing in Mortgages or something to define it.
Like you have in your signature.

The notes I gave the designer are below; what do you think?

Nice look. I think you could zoom in on the picture a bit and cut off the lower section a little.... also maybe a click here button?

Like this banner? http://chrisweir.com/banner003

like “Mortgage Brokers who Ride” ...
feels more inclusive ... puts the focus on the Mortgage Brokers. :thumbup

I like the "Riders" name rather than "Bikers."

Simply because someone's not going to like "Bikers." The "Riders" name is slightly more soft sell? I'm sure Bikers will not bother any motorcyclist, maybe others?

How ya doing Chris?

I'm well Dave, thank you! I am also really liking the feel of mortgage brokers for riders... not sure about the "we got you covered" thing. I've given the designer notes and we'll see what they come up with.

On the first I agree that it should say mortgage broker, but wonder if not shown to a targeted audience such as here it may not be taken as positively.

On the second one. Sounds like you are selling insurance to "Mortgage Brokers who ride".

By the way are you back on 2 wheels?

Hey bro, thanks so much for your impressions, I appreciate that. I don't know that'll I'll be using these banners elsewhere, I want to get the word out here in a fun way.

As you know my hunt for a bike I can be passionate about has been exhaustive. I thought the Husky 501 would be it, but I ended up scaring the "S" out of myself... I didn't tumble but my riding buddy blew his knee out and I had a couple of scary incidents without injury and sold it. Since then I've been through a few bikes, I have an older Bandit 1200 now, but I feel resistance may be futile.... there is likely another R1200RT in my future.

How have you been? How's the new neighborhood?
