Race results

Jennifer is 7th in Women beginner and I am 22nd in 4 stroke Novice. Not bad for first race ever... at least we finished and we got the pins ;)

Well, since Elsinore, we got addicted... We participated to the Bearfoot Family Enduro . Actually, Jennifer did, they did not let me start the race because of the noise restriction. I was measured at 104db and the limit is 101 db this year (96db next year). I rode the trails on Saturday and they were absolutely awesome. I will go back to Stonyford. Jennifer finished 7th in her class. Her very first enduro.

Sunday 12/8 we are participating to the Training Wheels Family enduro . I bought a FMF Quiet series exhaust so hopefully I will pass the sound test this time! The trails in ForestHill are supposed to be great.... another weekend of fun riding...

Dave,
I do not have a lot of photos because I was filming the girls' race on Saturday and I was racing on Sunday. I have a nice 20 mins movie of the Women race on Saturday but I do not have the bandwidth to make it downloadable (431 MB file).

I have some action shots from the video that you can look at if you want... :teeth

Elsinore GP is not an enduro per say. It is more like a historic race that you do just for fun. There is no timekeeping, no points to earn.

Jennifer and I just started riding enduros, so we started with "Family Enduros" which are much easier for the beginners that we are. We went to the Bearfoot and the Training Wheels Family enduros. You will find more info on the AMA District 36 Web site . Unfortunately the season just ended last weekend with the Training Wheels!
But if you're looking for rides, you can look at the DRN Forums . Jennifer and I are probably going to the Clear Creek New Years ride and the Valentine Reno ride.

See you on the trails! :)
