What’s up barfers

Folks here have been really cool about answering all my questions about all the motorcycle questions I’ve had. I don’t know much about newer bikes but I’ve rebuild a couple old cb550s and can answer most any questions about them. If I don’t know it, I know where to to look to find out. Best parts, jets and carb settings, custom shit etc.

Also, if anyone has pictures or ideas and advice for the old sohc bikes we love so, I’d love to hear what y’all have done. Hope to see more well build old cbs out there!

All the best,
Tkonacafe

This is good to know. I learned how to ride on an yellow/orange 550. This was back in the day when you just needed a pair of leather gloves for protection, lol. Nobody bumped their head.

I'm thinking of getting a replacement in about six months.

Go for it man! They are getting a bit pricy because are putting a ton of “hard work” bolting clip ons on and thinking their bike is suddenly worth 5k. Gone are the days of finding a stock bike that just needs a carb clean for 1500 bucks lol you can still find some good ones for around the 3-3k mark you just need to keep your nose to the trail and seek them out. I’ve got a parts bike if you need a few little things I’m sure we can work something out. 4into1 is also a great option for new parts.

Let me know man. Always down to wrench on old Honda’s with folks who appreciate them
