Agree with elemental, I've gotta think that getting his with a bill like that will almost certainly slow them down a bit.

Celeste also has three other lawsuits (I think) protesting the Carnegie General Plan.

Still.
She doesn't quit.
Two out of three.
The Connolly Ranch has one lawsuit, Friends of Tesla Park has one lawsuit, and Alameda County has one lawsuit, all for the general plans for the expansion property.

Here's todays update to the access easement trial. Connolly Ranch had requested that the judge change part of the jury's decision and grant a retrial.

IT AIN'T GOING TO HAPPEN!

From the latest court document:

1. Regarding Plaintiff’s Motion for JNOV -

Plaintiff Connolly Ranch's motion for JNOV is Denied. CCP section 629.

(JNOV is the practice in American courts whereby the presiding judge in a civil jury trial may overrule the decision of a jury and reverse or amend their verdict. In literal terms, the judge enters a judgment notwithstanding the jury verdict.)

2. Regarding Plaintiff’s Motion for New Trial -

Plaintiff Connolly Ranch's motion for a new trial is Denied. CCP section 657(6).

A decisive conclusion to this suit I think. Not sure if it is a result of this or just a change of venue but I was told Connolly's law office in Tracy closed.....
Guess his daughter still is practicing so probably not an end to their attacks but looks like things are swinging back in our favor, at least for the time being.
