Bikes on the Bay

Sunday 6/29/14
10 am to 4 pm

Bring the family and check out hundreds of American, British, European and Japanese motorcycles and scooters at the Capitola Mall Parking Lot off 41st Avenue in Capitola.


Visit the Motorcycle Swap Meet and find parts, or purchase your dream motorcycle in the Bike Corral. Used motorcycles and scooters will be for sale.

Vendors showcase the latest in bike accessories, clothing, parts and services.

Enjoy food, entertainment, awards and demos including Scotts Valley Police Precision Riding Team and Kuberg Electric Motorcycles.

Admission is FREE!

SFMC member Clay Murphy and his 14 y/o son AJ will be there tomorrow with a vintage Honda framer flat-track race bike, that AJ races at Lodi, and Clay's 1988 Honda Hawk GT ...

There is a ride leaving from the club on Sunday, 6/29, (18th Street & Folsom) at 9:30 am to head down Skyline and Route 9 to Capitola and Bikes on the Bay ...

Some pics of Bikes on the Bay used by permission. 5 of the event, the 6 of my hounds after getting the dreaded summer cut because the picture template thing had 6 holes and I only had 5 bike pics.
Incredible event! Lots of good bikes, I bet a few thou spectators, and 71 degrees while 100 in Fres.

I'm doing an article for our local club. I can punch it up with a few f-bombs for CBike I guess.
I have more pics coming from the C of C next week. I asked for bit newer bike pics. They (she) gave the okie dokie to use them
Here's the last 5 they sent, plus the filler pic of NZ when the wife an I did an Edelweiss there back in '05. Odd how they send 5 pics and I have a template for 4 and 6.
I'll forward all of them to you for your selection.

Bummer I just saw this, or did I miss a posting in General...?

I was in Capitola a few weeks back, on my way to New Leaf, and I wondered if they still did this.... I went in 2011, had a great time, loved seeing all the bikes, saw some old friends (one of them for the very last time), took a few pics, etc...

Next year... next year. (Please post the notice in a more "traveled" section of BARF if anyone thinks of it.)
