Steee-riiike!

great pic of a cell! It a specific type? Really cool they included microtubules. The trans-membrane proteins really show how pliable our cell membranes are. Are the soccerball looking things the lysosomes?

So, tonight, while I was eating, my youtube auto play started playing this song,

youtu.be/d75zZ61FBCI

... then, something clicked inside of my head.
I had to grab my camera, mono-pod, pocket LED light, and my sword, turned off the ceiling lights, and tried to see if I can shoot the reflection of the blade nicely,at ISO 100 ...

(The lens is, again, vintage Nikon 50mm f/1.4.
The lighting was crude. The shots were taken quickly.)

(The lyrics

Red in your eyes, open wide
Who's on my mind, stranded alone, so calm
Life can you tell the truth, those days passing by in vain
Unknown faces come and go, falling in spurts of blood
How can I beat the burden over me
Just lost in a labyrinth
Belong to the state of feudal empire
Oh my friend, please come talk to me brother
I need a little help I'm just close to the edge of the world

Satori my spirit never allowed to be dead
Running down through the spine of sword
Red sun going down and down
In the shades of black night
Katana my soul remember the taste of the bloody and lusty flesh
The day of doom

Satori my spirit never allowed to be dead
Running down through the spine of sword
Red sun going down and down
In the shades of black night
Katana my soul remember the taste of the bloody and lusty flesh
The day of doom
Can't get away Red in your eyes, open wide
Lose all my mind with no regrets)

That's you? A self portrait?

Well, whatever you did. It worked. Nice shot.

At our house it was always turkey for Thanksgiving, roast beast for Christmas, and pork for New Years... I think they knew that and were taunting me. :laughing

Now if a steer wandered through....

Or better yet, for New Years!

I used to live in an apartment in Hayward. We had turkeys come into the complex all the time. Them suckers aren't courageous, they're just plain mean. They'd chase me all over the place. :teeth

I still live in Hayward and we have the turkeys come around all the time. Except with us, they're friendly as ever.
