From NASA's Astronomy Picture of the Day, astronaut Alan Bean photographed by Apollo 12 mission commander Pete Conrad:

Conrad, a motorcyclist, died as a result of poor emergency medical care at Ojai Valley Community Hospital in July 1999 after a non-fatal motorcycle crash on Highway 150 between Santa Paula and Ojai.

Apollo 17, December 1972

Not Apollo 12, but it's an awesome pic (digitally enhanced) and I didn't want to start a new thread.

Again from NASA's Astronomy Picture of the Day. This is the Apollo 17 lunar ascent module, preparing to dock before the return flight. That's mission commander Gene Cernan in the window.
