ALONE A SAFETY ISSUE

JUST wanted to give everyones a heads up in case they have missed it,
TH is running, but only riders are welcome , no wifes, spectators or friends, allowed. and will be turned away at the gate.

As I just confirmed this with Carters/ and Zoom Zoom for the june 13/14/20/21

I feel its a safety issue in that in case something happens, you are there alone

As the groups are great in taking care of each other, but if you fall and have any injury , not even where you have to get airlifted out, how are you able to drive home with a separated shoulder etc .

just wanted to give everyone a heads up

They aren't saying you have to go alone, they are saying you have to go with other riders.

If you are concerned about it being a safety issue, link up with another rider and go together.

Plenty of people go to track days alone, and in the event something happens that prevents you from getting yourself home safely there are still options. You can leave stuff at Thill for a time, or you can call a friend/family member to come get you. I've even seen staff members from an org drive an injured rider home at the end of the day. I've also seen other riders do that, and have even offered others help myself.

I've done more trackdays and races alone than with anyone else. About two years ago I destroyed my shoulder in a race, got some help loading up, drove home in a sling, and went to surgery the next day. It could have been a lot worse but yeah you have to decide for yourself what kind of risk you're willing to take.

Same had a highside and smashed my collar bone. Got a sling and drove to hospital in Vacaville. The track provider helped me load up everything and let me chill while they did the work. It's good to go with other rides but if your by yourself best you can do is buy the best gear you can get like a air bag system. To rule the side of caution just do t pauh yourself over and you will be finem

Everyone has different levels of risk that they are willing to take without a non-rider going to the track with them. Im not surprised some won't be willing to ride. I hope that the TDP has made this policy clear to all their customers.
