I wanted to add, i def think you need the o2 dongle even when running the PCV. Ive run the bike with the pcv and the o2 sensor hooked up and with the dongle hooked up and the low end runs noticeably better with dongle. I know the pcv instructions say you don't need to run the dongle but i think the ecu fights the pcv when it gets the "real" o2 input.

Just thought it'd help someone out that was trying different maps. Might make you revisit some of the ones you didn't think were any good if you weren't using the dongle.

Interesting.

When I had my 2018 701, the fuel dongle did nothing for me. My fueling when in closed loop was pretty much spot on. No lean spots, no hesitation. I knew specifically the PCV was for the open WOT mapping in which helped a lot with the proper map.

I installed a PCV on my 2019 690 and this time Rottweiler also included the dongle for free so I installed it. Again, I didn't notice any difference in closed loop mode. My bike was pretty much spot on from the factory. But with Rottweiler's latest OTS map, the bike runs really_really good. I'm very happy!

/pic for attention.

Thanks for reviving this thread. Gives me the excuse to add some pics. Here is my '20 701SM, lowered front and back by about 1.5". Now side stand is extra tall and I would not trust it parking bike on street. I am looking into a shorter side stand that may be available as part of a kit on listed accessories on website.

Compared to my WR20X it is super smooth and I am really digging it.

Looks good! I like the new gray color. If you resized the pics (which you have to) they flip sideways sometimes.

For the stand, if you don’t have a welder do it, I think either slavens or rottweiler sells a shorter stand. Mine is stock height and I occasionally wish it was shorter. I can’t imagine being 1.5 lower and dealing with it.

No clue. Haven’t ridden yet. I reeeeaally want to. I’m curious about the brake. Sitting in the garage it feels 10x better than the stock one.

I have a 2017 (the manual chain adjuster is the same for the 16-17, even though the motor changed to a two-counter balanced motor) The 2018 and up had a revised (auto) cam chain adjuster, the adjuster is at an angle now, and thread pitch is different.

So if you are in the market for a manual cam chain adjuster, make sure to order the correct one.....

I was looking at OEM parts diagram and the cam chain tensioner has the same part number for 16,17 and 18

#77036003000

Also aftermarket listings is see are 17'-20'

I have been looking because my 701SM valvetrain is loud. Deffinilty making more noise than my 701 Enduro. Good time to look into it now

Last outing at the track yesterday and mines starting to push out coolant. Was too tired to try to see from where but I'm not getting a good feeling since ive done a few track days on it in weather 30 degrees hotter with no issues. Will keep posted
