2021 Combined Trackday/AFM schedule

You've done an amazing job. It's a lot of work. I spent hours making my own homemade wall calendar a couple of weeks ago :rolleyes ...
Now I know for 2020 to just wait for yours :thumbup :teeth

Thanks! glad it helps!

It's a little manual, but I have scripts that scrape some of the sites, and then creates a spreadsheet with the events, and then I use a script to move each row into google calendar so that it's somewhat automated and to try to avoid some of the human error. But sometimes the sites are updated and the scraper breaks, or the providers don't have a "text" friendly calendar in place so I have to enter those manually into the spreadsheet.

Now that AFM and some others have finalized their scheduled, I ran the script for the 2020 calendar and all 2020 events were added to the same calendar. If you are already using it, no need to do anything.

Otherwise, here it is

Thank you!

How different is this from the following?

I want to sticky your calendar, but I don't want too many stickies that say the same thing.

Mine includes AFM and limits track days to the "local" tracks and providers for the Bay Area.

The other one seems to include more providers and expands to more tracks outside of the Bay Area (Chuckwalla, Auto Speed Club, etc), but does not include AFM.

As Smash mentioned, I have been doing it since 2017 and it's pretty much an automated script at this point and it's the same calendar instance every year so people just need to add it once. I normally add all events as soon as all providers (and AFM) finalize their schedule.

Thanks Daniel. Remember not to tell anyone our deal on why you're on pole every race...

Hi everyone, now that things with tracks seem to be stabilizing in a way, I went back and updated the calendar with the new AFM schedule as well as updated track days.

Also I apologize for the mass event cancelation emails if you got some of those ;)

Thanks Daniel. We're currently awaiting and answer from Thill about the size (needed) for our event. We will need riders to expect support in their pits and support for vendors, etc. Our events are larger than the already transpired trackdays.

Thanks for the update Berto. Yeah I was there last week with FTD and PTT and Thill staff definitely seemed... nervous? with a fairly empty paddock.

Do your thing, but at this time my expectations are fairly low when it comes to them having us be there with more people...

Thanks again!

This is my 3rd year "stealing" your calendar but I promise to look you up on a track day and share some beers with you as a thank you note.

That said, if I click on your calendar I'm only seeing the AFM race events but no trackdays... am I missing something?

You aren’t, AFM released their calendar early so I did that quickly when it came out, but some of the TD providers had not released their calendar until a few days ago and I haven’t gotten around gathering them, I was hoping to do it sometime today :)

All done except Z2 since they haven't released their 2021 schedule, but others have been added and the calendar has been updated.

Z2 calendar was released on friday and it's now added to the calendar, so as long as there are no changes the 2021 calendar is good to go.
