Any thoughts on F650GS (twin) vs. F800GS? My riding would be 90% street/10% gravel or fire road. Wouldn't do any real offroad.

I don't understand trail braking. Many posts suggest it is dangerous. MSF says don't do it, period. The books I've read on it are confusing. I do it some times and am worried that maybe I shouldn't? Seems like sometimes it is just a smoother way to enter a corner than braking hard before...
