well im newish to bikes and my transmission is acting kinda funky... is there transmission fluid in there like a car or how is it done? can i change out the fluid and see if this helps or what?

ok now i have an older single cylinder thumper it has like a constant popping noise when i am not full on the throttle and in gear. it does not effect the performance but is an annoying sound sometime is there any way to fix this or is it just because the bike is older?
